Sofraz Tumuli

The Great and Small Sofraz Tumuli are located at 15 km to the southeast of Old Besni. Unfortunately, the
Small one has been badly damaged by treasure hunters but the Great Tumulus is very well preserved.

Highlights of your visit:

-One of the few tumuli in the whole of Turkey where you can enter the burial chamber
-Extraordinary construction with vaults standing tight for almost two millennia
-Attractive entrance, not for the light-hearted
