Perre Necropolis

The cemetery of the ancient town of Perre or Pirin is to be found today at the very outskirts of Adıyaman
city. The remains of the town itself lie under the nearby village of Örenli.

Highlights of your visit:

-Possibly the all-nobles necropolis of the whole Kingdom of Commagene
-Tombs cut into the rocks with a variety of burial niches and sarcophagi
-Ceremonial area for the burial rituals
