Karakuş Tumulus

The clear lines of the 21 meters high tumulus are well visible from all directions. You will find it on your way
up to Cendere Bridge, Old Kahta Castle, Arsameia and ultimately Mt. Nemrut.

Highlights of your visit:

-The only preserved tomb dedicated to the royal ladies of Commagene Kingdom
-It is guarded by the royal bird – the eagle – perched on a 21-meters high column at the entrance
